On Saturday, April 28 the golf team visited a cold and windy Bedford Valley to play in a tournament with many of the BEST golf schools in the state of Michigan. Wayland was able to finish in 5th place behind the 7th place overall 76 by Rory Myers. Tyler Omness fired a 80, Carson Sevingy a 81 and Mitch Salisbury a 85 to help grab the 5th place finish. “It really feels great to compete with some of the best schools,” said senior Mitch Salisbury. He also added, “maybe that means we are becoming one of the best as well.” Great Job Cats!! Keep up the good work.
