The Wildcats dropped a tough game on the road against rival Middleville. A rocky second quarter in which the Wildcats were down by 15 at one point and down 11 at halftime proved to be too much to overcome. However, the Wildcats did not give up without a fight using a big second half to come back and eventually take a one point lead. It would be a big three pointer and some clutch free throws that proved to be the difference for Middleville. Wayland was lead by Riley Fields and Ethan Mutschler who had 23 and 20 points respectively.
