Big win for MS Swim Team over FHC MS

Last night, the swim team defeated Forest Hills Central Middle School 140 to 131.  Everyone swam competitively; and, a special congratulations goes out to Ruby Sidebothain, Kylie Spiecer and Chase Robinson for have HUGE time improvements in their individual events.  Way to go CATS!  

7th Grade A basketball Team week in review

The 7th grade boys A basketball team had very good week.  The team worked extremely hard and came away with two wins. Monday they beat Forest Hills Eastern and on Wednesday they beat Wyoming.  Good jobs Wildcats!!!!!

8th Grade B basketball gets a win at Wyoming

The Wildcats traveled to Wyoming tonite for their rematch with the Wolves. Wayland started fast, taking the lead after one 9-4. They maintained their lead at halftime, 13-8, and after three, 20-15. after taking 5 days off over Thanksgiving, the Wildcats took on a tough FHE team. The first quarter was well fought ending with the Wildcats behind 4-2. The 7th grade B boys basketball team ran into a tall and physical team from Caledonia on Monday night. Caledonia was able to control the glass all game and executed well offensively. The swim team lost to East Grand Rapids Monday night, but there were a lot of great performances.  Sammi Reed set two new school records and qualified for the State Swim Invitational in both events.  In addition, Sammi, Jourdin Dressler, Rylie Steuer and Elliot Antel qualified for the state meet in the medley relay.  Jourdin

The 7th grade A team lost Monday to Caledonia in another hard fought contest. The team will be off until after Thanksgiving for a well deserved mini break, when they finally to get play a home game. Happy Thanksgiving All.
