JV Volleyball Finishes 2nd at Home Tournament

On Saturday the J.V. volleyball team took 2nd place at their home invitational.  The plays of Kirsten Nelson, Macey Hudson and Karley Lambert helped secure the victories.

TK Girls Golf Invite

The Girls Varsity Golf team finished 6th out of 12 teams at the TK Middleville Invitational held at Yankee Springs Golf Course last Friday. Leading scorers for Wayland were Ali Martus with an 83, Emily Arendsen with a 102, and Mandy Kinney with a 103. Ali’s 83 placed her 5th among 72 players.

Wayland Wins Close Match Over Zeeland West

The Girls Varsity Golf Team beat Zeeland West 200-203. Leading scorers for Wayland were Ali Martus with a 40, Mandy Kinney a 50, Emily Arendsen 52, and Courtney Johnson with a career low 58.

Girls Golf Finishes 4th in Jamboree

The girls golf team finished 4th at the OK Gold Jamboree at Railside.  Leading scorers for Wayland were Ali Martus, Mandy Kinney and Alexis Kirschbaum.

Leading the girls cross country team at the OK Gold Jamboree yesterday at South Christian were Emily Gray, Riley Shepherd and Emily Isenhoff.

The boys varsity cross country team finished 9th out of 37 teams at the Spartan Invitational at MSU on Friday.  Our top 2 finishers were Perry Carter and Owen Glass who ran career best times.  Jeremy Pletcher was our third finisher who ran his season best time. Six Girls Post Season Best Times at MSU Meet

Six of the top 7 cross country girls posted season best times at the Michigan State University Cross Country Invite.  Led by Emily Gray; most notable were Brittany Ludwig and Maggie Whitney.  Leading the J.V. was Makaila Huffman.  Running very well were Renna Graham and Abbie Hasse.  Finishing her first 5K in America was Maxine
