JV Volleyball Falls to Hastings

The J.V. Volleyball team was defeated last night by Hastings.  Players of the game were Sam Shealy, Anna VanDeusen and Chloe Tobin.

JV Football Defeats Talented Ottawa Hills Team

The J.V. Football team defeated a talented Ottawa Hills team last night.  The Wildcats played with great discipline as a team.  Austyn Chase, Austin Haveman, Ian Carpenter and Bryce Hyde all had outstanding performances.

Girls Golf Finishes 2nd at OK Gold Jamboree!

The Girls Varsity Golf Team finished 2nd last night at the OK Gold Jamboree held at Yankee Springs Golf Course. Leading scorers for Wayland were Ali Martus with a 40, Alexis Kirschbaum with a 45, and Emily Arendsen with a 49. Great job girls!

Girls Golf Loses Close Match to Byron Center

The Varsity Girls Golf Team lost to Byron Center last night at Railside Country Club 202-207. Leading scorers for Wayland were Ali Martus with a 41 and Alexis Kirschbaum with a 53.

Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams Claim Victories Over Wyoming

Congratulations to the girls cross country team who beat Wyoming yesterday.  Leading all runners was Emily Gray.  Running course best times were Riley Shepherd, Mikaila Huffman and Anna Kidwell.  Running her first race in the United States and placing 7th for Wayland was Anna Lehmann from Germany.  Great job girls!   The boys cross country

Varsity and JV Boys XC Teams Take 3rd Place at Cedar Springs Invite

The Varsity Boys Cross Country team placed 3rd at the Cedar Springs Invitational on Saturday.  Jeremy Pletcher, Derek Huffman and Ben Gunnett ran season best times. The J.V. Boys Cross Country team also placed 3rd at the Cedar Springs Invitational on Saturday.  Justin Fleser and Ethan Killips ran season best times.

Girls Cross Country Team Places 4th at Cedar Springs Invite

The Girls Varsity and Junior Varsity Cross Country teams placed 4th at the Cedar Springs Invitational.  Varsity medalists were Emily Gray, Maggie Whitney, Emily Isenhoff and Brittany Ludwig.  Posting a season best time was Captain Mickala Kohtz. The Junior Varsity team was led by Makaila Huffman.  Posting season best times were Anna Kidwell and Abbie
