Meet Recap

It was a beautiful night for Cross Country Racing at Riverside Park, in Grand Rapids. Leading the way for the Wildcats, at the OK Gold Championship, was Captain, Ethan Killips with a time of 19:14. He was followed closely by Gabe Attruia, just missing his lifetime PR with a time of 19:18. Coming in 3rd was Jacob Jelsema, with a PR of 19:34 and he was followed by Andrew VanBaal, breaking 21 for the first time with a time of 20:42. Closing the door on our score was Jarod Geerligs with a time of 21:00. Ian Russell finished the 5k in 21:07, while Christian Courser took a big step, filling in for an injured Elijah Gamelin, and ran Varsity tonight, running a time of 22:10. In the JV race, Super Duper Cooper Sidebotham ran a lifetime PR of 22:57 and he was followed by Seth Madole (23:00) and Kyle Ngo (25:30). The boys travel to Martin Speedway this Friday to race in the Allegan County Meet.
