Game Recap

The girls came out and dominated the game with Ali Cutler scoring her first goal of the season 7 minutes into the half on an assist from Ashlyn Schafer. Madelyn Gray followed up the Cutler goal with one of her own ten minutes later on an assist from Brinley Nieuwenhuis. Madelyn added her second goal of the game in the 33rd minute when she received a nice pass from Haley Thelen and found the back of the net to give the Wildcats a 3-0 lead at halftime.

Strong defensive play in the second half, and Ali Cutler’s second goal of the game resulted in a 4-0 road victory for the visitors.

The girls bring their record to 2-0 and have scored 8 goals, while allowing 0 in their first two games.

They are back in action on Monday as they host the defending state champions, Gull Lake at 6:45.
