Middle School Sports Cancellations

Due to the extreme heat conditions and no air conditioning in the MS gymnasium, tonight’s 7th and 8th Grade Volleyball match against Coopersville has been cancelled.  In addition all practices for Middle school sports have been cancelled for today.

8th Grade Volleyball Beats EGR

The 8th Grade volleyball team had a big victory over East Grand Rapids, winning three sets, 21-6, 21-13 and 21-16.  The Wildcats are 2-0 on the season.  Outstanding performance by:  Alexa Lawrence, serving 10-10 with 2 aces, Kennedy Cole, serving 7-7 with 4 aces and Emma Ludema, serving 4-4 with 1 ace!  Great Job Cats!

8th Grade Volleyball Victory

The 8th grade A team defeated Thornapple Kellogg 21-2, 21-13 and 21-11.  This was a great start for the 2017 season.  Playing well for the Wildcats:  Presley Oatmen, Emma Ludema and Olivia Deeb.  Oatmen was 3-3 serving, with 1 ace, Emma Ludema was 18-19 with 13 aces and Olivia Deeb was 8-9, with 5 aces. The Middle School fall sports parent meeting has been changed to Tuesday, September 12th at 4:45 at the middle school.  Please make note of this time change and we look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
