The Wayland Union Wildcats Varsity Baseball team picked up the double-header sweep, holding on for a thrilling 1-0 win over Forest Hills Eastern High School. Chris Kincaid started on the mound for the Wildcats, picking up the win, going 6 innings and allowing 0 runs on 4 hits, striking out 3 and walking 4. Carter Morse entered in the 7th inning and picked up the save, pitching 1 inning and allowing 0 runs on 0 hits, striking out 2.

Leading the way for the Wayland Union offense were Ben Barnes, Carter Morse, and Travis Cutler. Barnes was 1-for-3 with a run scored, Morse was 1-for-3 with an RBI, and Cutler was 1-for-3.
