Meet Recap

The girls of Wayland Union traveled to the Comstock Park Invite today to compete against some other great West Michigan Teams. Freshman, Corrina Courser, had a fantastic day taking 1st and medaling in both the 100 Hurdles (17.5) and the 300 Hurdles (49.94). Khylea Wells was busy with great efforts in the 100 dash, leading off in the 4 x 200, and the 4 x 100. She has been a great addition to the team this year. The 4 x 800 meter team of Rylee Cronkright, Grace Hasse, Zoe Antel, & Maggie Whitney raced to 3rd place medals with a time of 11:05.82, edging out Grandville, Rockford, and Kenowa Hills. Tri-Captain Abbie Hasse was instrumental in the 4 x 200, 4 x 400, the 400 and 800 today posting PRs in both of her open events! McKenna Dutkiewicz continues to improve with her efforts in the shot and disc. She threw a personal record in the shot put with a distance of 26’9.75″. The 4 x 400 team of Whitney, Antel, Abbie Hasse, and Courser took 9 seconds off of the previous 4 x 4 with a time of 4:44.14.
