Meet Recap

Wayland took advantage of their knowledge of Yankee Springs and had a great round. The wildcats shot a 165, lead by junior Mitch Salisbury with a great 40. Mitch was 4 over after 3 holes, but finished with 6 pars in a row. Robert Mucci and Rory Bessinger followed with 41’s. Jake Omness finished out the scoring with a 43. “It is really nice to be so deep as a team. Today we were able to use our number 5 and 6 golfers to finish 2nd. That sure does allow everyone to play a little more relaxed. At any match we could use any players score”, said Drew. Wayland looks to improve on that finish at home this Wednesday.
