Game Recap

On a rainy night, the Wildcats suffered an unfortunate loss to Wyoming by a final score of 5-2 on Thursday. The game was truly a tale of two halves as the Wildcats were able to take a 1-0 lead into halftime, courtesy of a goal by Mike Foley coming directly off a corner kick from fellow senior David Rusczkowski. They were unlucky not to have a larger lead going into halftime however, when a goal was disallowed for offside just before the end of the first 40 minutes.

The second half saw the visitors tie the score up not long into the half on a rebound in front of the Wildcat goal and they took the lead not long after. However, thanks to Anthony Muscarella’s equaliser, the home team were able to remain within striking distance. Unfortunately, it would prove to be not enough as the Wolve’s pressure created 3 unanswered goals to end the game and send the Wildcats home with a defeat.

Senior keeper, Jake Larsen made 10 saves on the night in arguably his best game between the pipes all season long.

The boys are home for the final time this season against Forest Hills Eastern on Monday, kickoff at 6:45.
