Meet Recap

The Wayland girls cross country team placed 6th at the OK Gold Jamboree at the Gainey Complex on a beautiful afternoon. Running season best times for the varsity were Emily Gray, Zoe Antel and Sydney Hielkema. Running a personal best time for the junior varsity was Hannah Damveld. First time cross country runner Elena Campon from Spain finished her first 5K ever and Grace Chandler shaved time off her course time. The girls will be running in the Cedar Springs Red Hawk Invitational Saturday.
