Meet Recap

The Wayland Wildcats took 6th of 7 teams tonight at the 2nd OK GOLD Jamboree at Gainey. We were only 9 points behind Thornapple-Kellogg! Jacob Radmacher, a senior, ran a lifetime personal record of 23:22! A trio of Fantastic Freshmen also ran PRs: Ian Russell (21:32), Steven Mosher (22:10), and Jacob Jelsema (22:02). Jacob dropped the greatest amount of time running 41 seconds faster than ever before! Captains Jonathan Zuiderveen and Ethan Killips continue to march towards their PRs from last year. Jarod Geerligs is staying stronger longer while Mitchell Hooker took a risk with a faster start. Garret Kloska and Gabe Attruia only missed their PRs by a few seconds. The Wildcats head north to Cedar Springs this Saturday. This will be another great opportunity to drop some time. These guys have been working hard!
