Meet Recap

The Wayland Boys had a great day at the MSU Spartan Invitational. They finished 31st out of 41 teams in the Bronze Division…which included schools from Division 2 and Division 3. Captain, Jonathan Zuiderveen finished for the Wildcats with a time of 18:20…but hot on his heels was freshman, Mitchell Hooker (18:29) clocking a 20 second PR. Captain, Ethan Killips finished the 5k course in 20:09. Freshman, Garret Kloska ran another PR this week with a time of 20:55. Another Freshman, Ian Russell, ran a 41 second PR and finished with a time of 21:51. He was followed by Sophomore, Jarod Geerligs (22:06), and Steven Mosher (22:40). In the JV race, with 783 runners, Gabe Attruia continues to take some monster time off and finished the day with a time of 22:46…that’s a PR by 1:18! He was followed by Jacob Jelsema (22:57) and Jacob Radmacher (24:05). The team continues to work hard and is currently laying the groundwork for future successes.
